excellent breakfast. gym was best i've had in a hotel for a long time. this is a great hotel

spa and gym are very basic. but it was still more than adequate for me.

i used the gym in the morning that has all that you need for a quick work out ( mostly cardio equipment, one (-)room was a little small, and the gym is a separate building (-) gym was adequate, so don't expect too much, fine for a workout (-)gym could be in better condition but it served my needs so certainly nothing major and in no way (+)really good size room. great views. small gym was a bonus. (-)the gym was a bit small but all eqt working (-)no gym (-)a steam room and sauna would be a great addition. near the gym area (-)gym condition not kept to standard of rest of hotel, equipment visibly dirty and treadmill rusted

only stayed one night for nearby wedding at golf club which was about 3 min taxi ride away - busy winding road tho so wouldnt walk

after some work that evening, i had a couple of lovely pints in the bar area next to the open fire, served by a new employee who was polite and welcoming

parking was as slightly difficult but that's because the building is on a hill side

if i d have realised there were gym facilities .. i d have been more prepared.
