beautifully renovated comfortable spacious rooms, a well laid out gym with high end equipment, outstanding farm to table restaurant

there over christmas week, and not on a weekend, we had the run of the house - the restaurant and bar areas were essentially a giant rec room for us and the few other guests

restaurant and bar are beautiful and away from the rooms but convenient enough to go from one to the other

sadly of course because of covid the gorgeous lobby area with the bar was completely shut down

we have stayed in many places in lake placid, and this bar far was our favorite

the room was much bigger then expected and the pool was a lot more private then expected

i understand it’s on the lake, has a pool, etc, but it was just a little steep

it has a heated indoor pool and a jacuzzi on the lower level

need usb connections fir charging. sadly gym wasn t open..but not their fault..

to covid gym and breakfast not offered

due to covid there was no room service and the gym was closed - be careful what you book on booking

gym and facility rooms were not clean

our apartment had two bedrooms and two bathrooms, a full kitchen and working fireplace, with great views of the mountains from the balcony

apartment was excellent, we made use of the sauna and jacuzzi tub and appreciated how well the kitchen was outfitted

standing in the kitchen practically feels like you have a window

it was a great vacation. the units are very comfortable and the kitchen is very well stocked.

bkfst great, room, gym, pool/hot tub all clean&comfortable.

spa and gym were closed due to covid-19 restrictions and one of two elevators was broken and not repaired

com has quoted us, no one every replied to us about arriving early or if the gym/pool is open, so we came in at noon, was told it would be done shortly and finally at 430 we

stayed here in march and loved the gym

pool, hot tub, gym, hotel restaurant, were unavailable

wasn’t ready for hours, no bar or food service on monday or tuesday, exploitation of parking restrictions for guests to charge

dessert and drinks in downstairs bar very good, as well as the service

rooftop bar with a view of mirror lake.

they also have a rooftop bar which i didn't get to this trip but i'm sure it's an awesome spot to hang with a great lake

although we didnt use the gym, it was modern and well-equipped

there was no ice machine, the gym was out of order, the elevator was out of order, no ice machine, no pool

gym was clean as well

gym need some barbell or extra weight strengthening machine.

*no ability to control the temperature of the ac in the gym , so it can be hot

the gym and pool were great, location was good, the room was comfortable.

i really liked that you could refill your waterbottle at the gym, great feature to not use the plastic bottles

hotel has a fitness room; heated pool and 2 hot tubs, nice grounds with outside sitting areas

staff, great breakfast choices, kids loved pool, parents the whirlpools

a minor inconvenience which caused the shower curtain to pool in the middle of the rod

friendly staff, housekeeping was great, nice pool and jacuzzi.

very clean and had the items i needed: refrigerator, good hvac, tv, hairdryer, shower, towels, gym, pool with towels and whirlpool

didn't use the gym but it looked nice

these people were willing to accommodate us-before our reservation time- for early check in in order to get dressed (including ironing clothes after a long trip), and ready

breakfast was great. the potatoes too salty but overall everything was great.

service was pretty great especially the cleaning staff, beds are really comfortable, gym is nice, coffee near the front desk is always full and delicious, ac works great and water

hall rugs on the second floor should be cleaned and the cable on the universal gym for the bench press has been broken for a couple of months

the gym cross-trainer needs a full tune up

gym was in poor shape and the excercise equipment was not maintained and did not work properly

gym tv was not working. a/c in room was a bit noisy

2) gym room with carpet on the floor: very not hygienic at all since people often sweat there and

little gym room open

the kids enjoyed the pool, hot tub, and gym workout room

the gym was very small, but they did offer an alternative for more avid gym-goers
