the staff were friendly and very helpful. the gym was very good and opn from 0700 to 2400 hrs.

staff at the reception and in the bar - location (close to a park, close to the highway, 15 minutes walk from the city walls) - that (+)i went to the bar and fran was excellent, great attention and great service (+)nice bar attached to hotel (+) the hard working gentlemen at the bar in the evening and at breakfast again in the morning made my stay (-) bar not v inviting so we didn't go there for breakfast (+) the cafe / bar was very nice and reasonably priced

i used the gym in the basement everyday and had a really nice relaxing time

booked the spa but unfortunately it was closed for our 5 night stay

the swimming pool is nice and there is plenty of space for sunbathing

spa cleanness was far too poor

were impressed by the luxury of this resort, quiet location, swimming pool, ease to drive into Ávila
