a home-cooked breakfast was a great way to start a day of skiing at hunter mountain which was only a short drive

we arrived late and they kept the bar open a little longer for so we could all hang out with our friends who were also staying there

not sure if the restaurant / bar in the lodge is usually open… they were just doing a bbq and bar outside up the hill

the windham path and golf course were a short walk from the property

my husband also went to the golf course down the street

there is a refrigerator but no other form of a kitchenette which was missing

jacuzzi, fridge and kitchen had mildew too

there were no kitchen rags, coffee mugs, or soap for the dishwasher

ac was a blessing as the weather was hot but the swimming pool was across the aforementioned main road so we didn't visit it

one thing not mentioned is that you have to sign in and pick up key at the bar

loved the breakfast area and the owners are over the top

art and his wife were extremely helpful and good natured. breakfast was absolutely fine.

i chose this hotel for my kids because i thought they would have a blast at the indoor pool and bowling alley

but very old facility has its unique charm, the indoor pool was closed

shelf above sink in kitchen needs larger shelf brackets, tilts forward , so things on it wont slide off towards you

really relaxed atmosphere and a lovely continental breakfast

jennifer and maureen are wonderful, kind people and we enjoyed seeing them every day at breakfast

one of our favorite spots to grab a beer and play some pool (at station bar & curio) was a short walk distance

location, comfortable room with full kitchen, record player and albums, great heating, spotless

special suite which includes kitchen, two coffee machines, and even a record player

it was still fully functional- kitchenette was usable and you could sit at the counter to eat, but if we had been there more than

kitchen and two bathrooms clean and well organized

i also expected a bar service (only coffee available) and also expected a breakfast

d candies for purchase at the checkin area, the delicious coffee and tea in the morning, the kitchen and fireplace and outdoor bonfire)

our cabin was beautiful and our family felt super comfortable there (2 kids, 8 and 5)

also, in one occasion, the staff left our front door unlocked after they delivered a kitchen necessity while we were away

the kitchen was fully stocked and we will bring more food next time

pool was nice.
