close to food in waynesville nc. played golf at lake junaluska course; course in good shape.

there wasn’t a pool on the hotel grounds. there was only access to the public pool.

but it circles the entire lake - crossing the dam, a wooden bridge, and passing by the swimming pool/kayak rentals, shops, church and the other hotel (the terrace)

pool was a drive away. didn’t know about that till we got there

there was no breakfast provided nor a pool as advertised

kid friendly had a pool, tennis court, coin toss and miniature golf

the facilities - pool, tennis, mini golf, shuffleboard - are excellent and the 3 mile walk round the lake is delightful

have a chance to use all amenities, but everything was clean, staff is very nice and helpful, breakfast buffet is great

the gym was fantastic too

the breakfast was the best i have had at a hotel.

i was there for a golf tournament and i really enjoyed my stay
