hotel at the ocean in the wonderful small beach town oak bay (near a golf course) at just 15 minute drive from victoria

the pool was so relaxing and the food was amazing

didn't like that on the cable channel that you did not have fox news as an option gym was a little small

we liked that the room had a kitchenette and was thoughtfully outfitted

the tiered breakfast included in the price was amazing, and varied each day

experience, from the decor of the rooms, to the way the staff is dressed according to the era, to breakfast served on a 3 tiered stand with a cup of tea

we had to take an early ferry the next morning and this was very convenient for a single night's stay

renovating this unique place and in such, the pool/hottub was not available :( nor was the guest laundry (we just hung things up to air dry) the parking also was a wee bit cramped, but doable

the morning was not good , was expensive considering all the inconvenience of there not being a bar /

our only complaint was the bar shut at 9

otherwise we could dial 0 when we got to the room and we may or may not be lucky in getting room service

too close to the loud and rowdy bar crowd afterhours in teh parking lot of the rooms

reception staff, yummy burger restaurant next door, excellent cleaning staff, small but decent gym

coffee bar was great, 24 /7.

they have a gym and the mall is only 5 min away

there is a burger/beer bar attached to the hotel

luckily hotel had a cart available to take the golf clubs and our luggage

with my wife in the indoor outdoor pool was magical

the pool and hot tub were great fun for myself and 2 kids.
