a comfortable bar area, nicely furnished and varied tables for food

the grounds are great, with a brilliant kids play area, lovely beer garden and some animals

breakfast could be a little hotter it has been just warm on the two occasions i've stayed

not really worth mentioning but no plastic cups for kids drink - got a clumsy 3 year old....

very friendly staff, especially the super-efficient lady at breakfast who kept clearing away my plates (she knows who she is :-))

when booked it said there was sarah's kitchen but unfortunately it was no longer there

it's a great room, but kitchenette limited and not really for self-catering

& around tea time it was very busy on each day, so much so that although they did advertise that bar food was available on the sunday it wasn't when we asked

even the locals in the bar are very welcoming great choice of gin too

i found that the internet/ wifi, was a bit slow, and kept disconnecting whilst in the room.
