the breakfast is excellent and we had the small plates in the bar which i highly recommend

- the breakfast and the dinner steaks were delicious - nice selection of libations at both bar areas - excellent location and easy to walk to the shops or to the beachside - the daily

the pavements are covered in bird droppings, seagulls wander round the town looking for kids or frail people to attack and take any food they can

funky design, great location wifi not working when followed instructions

under current covid situation,apart from cleaning issue, great location & well appointed, parking space can be an issue if our late

of flat, we were in 4 (2adults+2 kids) and it was enough space for everyone (+)spa which is the location we needed to be, was nice that they provided a few toilet rolls as my kids seem to race through them, also washing up liquid and hand wash etc hosts promptly sorted out

very stressful parking. struggled to find a nearby spot with disc. did get one in the end.

lots of storage space includes fridge, freezer, dishwasher, cooking facilities also had free wifi

no parking in the property car park but they do supply permits for the surrounding streets.

just room was very hot with 2 adults and 2 kids , window opened about 6 inches

with it being an old building no lift so a lot of stairs to climb with kids

staff who couldn't do enough for the kids

was perfect stayed in family room kids loved it

the bar is absolutely lovely

food is very good, hits the spot and having the bar there is great for relaxing in the

slightly cold shower. no wifi in rooms.

parking is a bit of a pain but as it s on street it s out of the hotels control

golfers double parking for friends and to much swearing for our liking in the bar this included a

first night kept awake from 3am til 4am when group of golfers arrived back and were very noisy,banging doors and shouting etc

we didn t feel comfortable at breakfast as we were sat among a large group of golfers who frankly need a lesson in manners on a little note they could do with putting 2 ply

the shaving light in the bathroom didn t work, too many noisey golf parties

i would recommend it to friends, in fact we brought a leaflet for your golf breaks home for a friend , hope they use it

liked the way the bar person welcomed us on arrival and helped us with our luggage to reception

the bar had to close by 10pm as local licencing laws, but plenty of pubs around to accommodate

i was on a golf trip with my wife and loved our time in whitby, my home town in the 1950 s

at the roundabout by the hotel to take you into whitby which is good as it is difficult to find a parking place

choice was excellent as was the dinner menu,the service was great and there was plenty of car parking

the wifi also didn't work in room 1

situated opposite the park and ride for trips into whitby without the hassle of looking for parking

convenient and close to both the golf course and the town center.
