great location as we where there for a golf weekend

the wifi could do with a booster the tv is pointless if you can t use it.

we enjoyed a good meal in the bar in the evening and had a delicious breakfast the next morning

hotel from the minute you drive in you get a good feeling, plenty of parking ,receptionist very pleasant on arrival, online check in was easy, the rooms were to a high

we were tired so had room service top quality food and delivered in style

road it’s forty minutes in the right direction to get home i’ve sampled the breakfast and bar food at the darrington and i really enjoyed it and the staff are all very helpful and friendly

to much trouble went above and beyond to make us comfortable and had a good laugh with us in the bar

came down an hour late for breakfast but bar staff still provided us with a full english

we were told to ask at the bar for items missing from the room, and bar staff were very obliging

on the second night i was alone and went to the bar for a drink, sat alone, i was welcomed by the owner to sit with those who were in the bar

wifi in the rooms is a little weak but otherwise it was great!

i had a late pint in the bar which was very busy even approaching midnight

it was clean, lovely room with a cool walk-in shower, lovely bar downstairs and fun, friendly and brilliant staff who took time to look after me

either from the restaurant or the toilets in the bar area

& bar closed monday and tuesday so have to go locally nearest village about a mile

smell was fantastic throughout and the room was clean with good facilities, the bar lady/waitress was really nice and very accommodating along with the kitchen

fact i was in bed next to a function room and had kids running past my window and putting their arms in my room and hearing a chavvy wedding guest
