to nit-pick, the gym is only a treadmill and cross trainer, essentially in a corridor next to pool

pool was very cold screaming kids running up and down at 11pm

bed, how ckean the room and bathroom were, the spa was so good had a great time using the pool and juccusi, breakfast had so much choice all staff members so helpful

the staff at reception, spa, bar and restaurant were all incredibly welcoming and friendly

free parking is a great bonus

i would avoid unless there is nothing else available - the focus seems to be on the golf course

travelling on her own it was a safe environment and great views from my bedroom window across the golf course

quiet pub by the river, a lovely walk down the river through a golf course and ending up at the ship inn

great location for a hotel, the wifi was really good, i take my xbox away with me and i was able to play it without issue

but the atmosphere in the bar and restaurant area was superb

a quiet evening sat by the river made it extra romantic while the bar meal was the cherry on too
