the bar is a happy place for both locals and visitors

had a great stay the facilities bar and food were exceptional the locals welcoming in the bar area and we ate in the restaurant

no kitchen in evening, but the bar was lively, and the staff went above and beyond arranging food to be delivered to us and

side entrance - perhaps a sign with a noise policy after 11pm might be a good idea, just asking bar punters to be mindful of hotel

another plus, you don t hear the noise of the busy bar downstairs when your in your room in the evening

ground floor, the real wow factor is on the upper floor - a massive open plan space featuring a pool table at one end while the other is given over to a home cinema system - projector and sound

spots for a couple we were there for only one night so did not take advantage of the spa or golf or water

the carrick golf course is in need of serious tlc and was not good value.

she met us at check in and looked after us at the bar all night with some great conversation

busy wee place when i arrived, sunny day had a lot of people using the bar and sitting outside admiring the west bay views

bar had great options, again no time to go though except when i bought a can of juice, pricing was

golf course right across the road , and that's it . still , helensburgh only minutes away .

stay at cardross we were staying for a wedding over at the golf club

the inn is situated in the heart of the village opposite the golf club and there is several grocery and paper shops a short walk away

at the reception was the best thing of the stay, really nice and wanted to share with us the best golf courses in the area

breakfast really good and filling ,for a round of golf at the carrick

we also spent the most part of the night in the bar and it was a really nice atmosphere and kieran who was working behind the bar was on hand to

breakfast was good the eggs, beans, bacon, toast, orange juice and cappuccino was very tasty

a bit noisy the day we stayed but it was a full house with kids so that makes sense

but facilities are very busy during the day due to a large nearby car park

evening/night staff that worked the front desk and the second bar were outstanding

only £10 for a late check out too

the stuffed animals and “catch of the day” fish in the bar are not necessary.
