food in the bar is just so good and yes the sticky chicken is to die for

no issues, rooms are above the bar and also road outside however no issues with noise.

saw any other residents at all during our stay and we were the only people in the dining room for breakfast as well

his wife both work st the abbey hotel and we had a great chat with him about the local area (and golf (+) maybe due to the golf group who were not provided with a buffet service for the cooked meals so this slowed the (+) it is a great centre for golf and walking in the borders

unfortunately the only minor thing was our room was over the bar and was very noisy until early hours but we were so tired we still fell asleep quite quickly

breakfast was great and we had a meal on saturday night and it was lovely and at a good price

50 pm i was given my key and told the restaurant and bar were shut

the breakfast staff look like they definitely don’t enjoy the job , cheer up ladies a smile costs
