the staff were very friendly and the breakfast was excellent

breakfast was great but weren't able to help our selves to cereal or fruit but it wasn't a problem

we had some troubles with a room service order - so we did not like that but the staff were very kind in dealing with it

great for kids, long corridors to run down and even the bar area is great for them with loads of space to move about

requested a room away from children yet i'm in a room opposite a family with kids

the kids loved the pool and you don t need to bring your own towels

spa being included is a bonus and it s lovely

he took a fan from behind the bar to put in our room

staff were exceptional and very helpful, even bringing us drinks to our room after the bar had shut

pub bar was available downstairs and wi-fi was excellent

so we did not have to go through the bar

we ate in the bar at lunchtime, menu choices and prices very competitive, good portion size, and excellent value

the hotel was easy to find, albeit my satnav, using the postcode, directed me to the nearby golf club rather than the hotel itself

we went to the golf at the belfry which is a 4 mile drive on one single road

loved my stay as well as my kids

the sauna, gym and pool were great and breakfast was splendid

is an absolutely stunning location with beautiful gardens and surrounding golf course

golf was rather expensive 37 per round ,& no discount was offered even though we were attending a

stayed over in the hotel after a round of golf in the afternoon,then attending a wedding reception in the evening

our room was amazing, breakfast fantastic, dinner excellent and the golf course lovely

the place had so much character, with stunning views of the gardens and golf course

as soon as we talked with the reception we were given another room with the best views over the golf course

it's a lovely suite and horsley lodge is in a beautiful setting surrounded by the golf course

the golf course, the breakfast, the staff are a credit to the hotel.
