filthy , pillows old and lumpy , overall extremely poor no air conditioning no room fridges , no room service , breakfast service was shocking , covid protocols none existent

the selection of refreshments is poor in the rooms and the bar was unable to offer room service

stocked bar and amazing neal in their newly opened indian restaurant - hope you open to the public soon

was fabulous, overlooking the estuary with the rising hills dotted with sheep behind the pool house

we had a wonderful breakfast, and lunch at the pool house, which was exceptional

breakfast was to a very high standard in beautiful surroundings

was lovely and great views to the estuary & we especially enjoyed eating in the pool bar/restaurant

and we just walked down to the beach & the mini golf - very

stayed in the 2 bed apartment nice two bedrooms and separate dining and kitchen on first floor then a lounge/tv room on second floor witn river

globe is very central and nice and quiet too albeit our room faced onto a garden bar

not ideal when with young kids and should have been explained before booking

ask for a room away from the kitchen extraction fan.

having a separate kitchen for tea and coffee was different and works really well

we liked the guests kitchen as an alternative to the full restaurant breakfast, great if you just want coffee, cereal

we decided to have the cooked breakfast which is ordered the day before but there is a lovely kitchen area near the bedrooms which you can help yourself to cereals, bread and tea and coffee

the room spacious and the addition of a kitchen on our floor great for making hot drinks and breakfast snacks that were provided

little extras that just make things nice - the little galley kitchen to help your day go

kids loved the pool but i thought it needed a good clean and the jacuzzi bit was the same

lodge with breakfast included 2 minutes away or go to the beefeater in the same location where kids eat free instead of paying 6

of self catering, local take-aways or room service for eating in, the pool was great for the kids, the pub was dog friendly with lovely food

was a bit uncomfy, we were in north lodge and lobby house laundry bags for the three days we were there

was not given the wifi code and forgot to be honest until later that night

upgraded our booking from a family room to a two bedroom cottage with a kitchen because we had a dog with us, perfect

the building itself is so historic, yet warm and comfortable, the bar cosy, the drinks and evening meal were superb (and reasonably priced too
