we turned up at midday after a 2 and a half hour car journey with the intention of parking at the hotel and then walking to the black horse pub for some lunch

£17 or so for a kids lunchtime fish finger meal, which was served with a grand total of five chips

the other thing we did find a bit strange was that even in the set time that kids can use the spa area there are signs up saying they are not allowed to use the jacuzzi/hot tub

great food although choice fairly limited especially for kids

i had hoped that the breakfast buffet would have been a little more extensive
