pool was great. staff very pleasant and knowledgeable of the area.

the kitchen had everything we needed - and front desk staff were fantastic

kitchen even had pot large enough to cook our own lobster and we could have live lobster delivered

unit big hot tub was super nice, unit is big with 3 levels, full kitchen, 2 1/2 baths and decks and 2 tvs

it was nice to have a working kitchen and so much space

everything was great bit would have liked the gym to open at 6 am

one more pool table or more gym equipment would be nice.

we enjoyed the complimentary hot breakfast out on the porch every morning

adults who are just looking for a quick bite before starting their day, but not great for kids at all

the breakfast was great, plus there were chocolate chip cookies available all day

we hiked the next day , the room service style breakfast included in the stay was very appreciated and tasty

room service was excellent

also, for a room with a kitchen, there were no filters for the coffee maker

plenty of space, a comfortable king sized bed, and a little kitchen

the breakfast hit the spot with good quality food and the fresh baked goodies and snacks were a nice

snacks and to go breakfast was a nice you (juice, coffee, yougurt, fruit, muffins etc)

place to stay in bar harbor

the inn is omly a short walk from downtown bar harbor which made it convenient for not having to park downtown

it was conveniently located in downtown bar harbor near shops and restaurants and the land bridge to bar island

breakfast was out of sight

looked forward to kristi's delicious breakfasts each morning

, and the cat ferry to nova scotia and the entrance to acadia national park and a golf course we did not play but was close by

breakfast was very tasty and we liked that we could sit outside during breakfast

the pool is beautiful, even though we did not use it

3 deer including a fawn grazed in the partially wooded lot by the pool in direct view from room balcony for about 20 minutes two mornings in a row

trolley stopped right outside and well worth using instead of trying to park in town

the golf course and clubhouse were both outstanding

the room service was super

would recommend the bluenose inn to anyone traveling to bar harbor, maine

the shuttle was a little bit of a walk, but so worth it to be able to just hop on to get to downtown

additionally, the coffee bar in the room had powdered creamer packets that didn t make for a tasty cup of coffee in the

in the other direction, a small drive, we found mini-golf

would have been okay for parents with kids

internet was weak. my kids were streaming.. then i got no bandwidth anymore...

we loved being at a motel much like we remembered as kids! would stay there any time!

lots of room the kids each had a double bed

was great - right in main road but quiet, bbq restaurant and mini golf just down the street

there are some nice restaurants nearby (we ate at the chart room one night), and a cool mini golf course

it's so close to acaidia national park, mini golf, ice cream, bbq, and a great little resteraunt that has the best lobster nachos

the location is near a couple of restaurants and mini-golf, close to the park and far from the crowds of bar harbor but close enough to visit
