our whole experience was most enjoyable, from a quick dip in the pool to our evening meal (delicious (+) the pool was a welcomed addition on a hot day (+)the staff are so friendly and helpful. lovely quiet pool area (+)hotel is in a lovely setting with a lake in the grounds and an outside pool we booked last minute and we booked 2 separate rooms (+) a big bonus was the pool which was large and well maintained (+)setting very close to town centre attractive gardens and pool - view of duck filled lake beautiful terrace settnig for (-)nothing just wish we had more time for pool (+)hotel was lovely, very relaxing, very clean, good pool, lake and garden (+) could not try the swimming pool (too cold) but it looks good (+) pool nice on a hot day (+)outlook (garden and pool view), excellent meal in the restaurant, very efficient and friendly staff

room for 2 people to move about separate toilet and bathroom when doors open restricted movement wifi not working when we arrived but they did call engineers and it was good

the parking was free and felt really secure

i tried the cafe de la paix as suggested by the owner and it was great, it is a pmu bar but it had quite a few diners

small bar and tea facilities were open

comfortable basic room. pool and terrace. short walk to restaurants

there was a small pool but chairs and tables pretty tacky and the views over the river obscured

good location, onsite parking, walking distance to town

early may, the chairs on the terrace were excessively dirty and the pool had a lot of green slime on the bottom

had been led to believe that the hotel had parking outside

price was a bit high for the quality of the service. no parking.

really friendly welcome from the owner. a small but pretty town. good parking for bicycles.
