breakfast perfect for the standard of the hotel

we did not have breakfast as we left early as we had a long journey that day

i don’t know if the spa operates or not but my wife and daughter weren’t interested in finding out

the building is a lovely traditional property in the centre of the village - with the bar terrace facing straight down the road the beaches and jetty

the hotel offers to do a load of laundry (wash, dry, fold) for only 12€

we arrived late, slept comfortably, wifi was great.

gave us a super welcome, amazing cooking (still dreaming about it), great breakfast, the kids (and us) adored the spacious family room, meeting charlie and discovering the property and its

stay in douarnenez - everything within walking distance, easy free parking, very good internet/wifi and absolutely great staff

we didn't use the spa but went swimming in the sea each morning, as there is a great beach right by the hotel

restaurant food wasn’t amazing and seemed to be no bar during the day.

photos apply to the other four star hotel and whilst the l’escale marine hotel has access to spa facilities located in the a la baie hotel, they certainly aren’t included

the shared spa facilities located at the golden tulip were excellent

underground passage to the spa facilities for those who wish to use that

the spa is only open from 9am to 6:45 pm

the spa was excellent.
