hotel was an hour s drive from bordeaux airport, in the perfect location (and with parking) for a stopover at the start of my 4-day trip touring the area towards my final destination

the swimming pool is gorgeous but opening times too restricted, only opens 10:00.

parking has a few chargers for electric cars, which was really handy

there are actually 2 apartments with a kitchen in between, which you can use

very nice room and advantage of shared kitchen.

walking around to different wine yards during the day and then spend the rest of the day by the pool

was a little noisy till about 10pm. then the bar closed and it was quiet.

if i had to be picky, then the lobby bar is a bit dull, but even that has a pleasant street view

it would be nice to have proper bar in the hotel

wifi is not the best a little bit of noise because of the room upstairs

the pool was lovely for the sunny afternoons and the free shuttle service into and back from st emilion worked perfectly

also, as a 5* you d expect the hotel to run a free shuttle into st emilion centre or

shuttle doesn t run all evening every night

spa is the best one in my life

is a little house with only 2 rooms, and a not-so-small kitchen and living room, in the middle of the vines, below saint emilion

parking could have been an issue but hassan advised us to park at the north of the town by the high

hassin was a great host, perfect setting for us and the kids. wish we had stayed longer.

we were able to use the kitchen and downstairs dining and sitting areas
