hotel breakfast was nice and plenty of choice and staff friendly

although there was a private function on the bar late on the evening of our stay, we could not hear any noise from our room on the 1st floor

fact we came back to the hotel at 11pm to have a few drinks before bed and the bar was closed and the residents bar was unavailable hard to believe on a friday night

old-world charm, but very well appointed, lots of bedding, towels, seating, as well as a modern kitchen with a wide range of equipment and crockery, etc
