gowns, a comfortable bed, a modern and clean shower room, tea and coffee facilities, tv and wifi

the bar is charming: comfortable, natural, friendly and old fashioned in the best way possible

staff were lovely, especially in respect of our early check in request

check in, not because we didn't have an early check in

this is fairly essential for a glyndebourne visit) but because this was our 3rd

wifi worked fine on day one, then it became very slow or non existent.

card folder with the room keys showed a wifi access code which was out of date

wifi in my room didnt work very well at all which meant i struggled to speak with my family and

the fact there was no signal and no wifi working so in contactable

wifi didn't seem to reach our room (no 5) which was a small problem as i had no mobile service (+) the free wifi in the pub was really good and very fast (-)room was at the far end of the corridor away from the pub and the wifi didn't quite reach that far, given that the mobile phone network is quite poor we were in a (-)wifi only limited to the bar. mobile reception very poor. (+) all the necessary facilities (shampoo, lovely towels, wifi, etc (-) a plug socket near the bed would be nice, the manual in the room needs updating with wifi login as my room had no other signal on the 3 network but other than that nothing (+) plenty of free parking and free wifi (+) good free parking and wifi (+) the free wifi was strong and worked without issue which often is a rarity in hotels (+) our room was clean and quiet, and the wifi was good (+)good tv and wifi, comfortable bed,good food.

the breakfast was spot on

breakfast was very good and always freshly cooked

food is really good & they go the extra mile starting to early to make breakfast thank you the breakfast trays were amazing again, much appreciated

friendly and helpful bar staff

and a special mention to the nice lady in reception who helped me get wifi on my

great wifi connection
