floors are old and creak, rooms are darker (except the kitchen) and bathtub is better suited for baths (though it is possible to shower)

it was supposed to be an upgrade but it was dark, outdated, and the kitchenette was barely functional

unfortunate the tiki bar was closed for renos, but probably worked out as we were above it so could have been noisy

for me it was a perfect stay…wish the tiki bar had been open but that’s just timing.

lastly, there is no breakfast provided but you have a discount at a bar attached to the hotel, and there are supermarkets around

and if you are lucky yiu will be there when the the fabulous tiki bar is open

lobby was a bit dirty however keep in mind that there are shows in the bar downstairs from the accomidations and i think they were still cleaning up from the punk show
