old building food was lovely diane who worked in the bar downstairs very helpful and friendly made us feel very welcome thank you diane

check-in is at the bar and it was busy (mother's day weekend) but we were quickly and politely dealt with

the woodthorpe is solidly built and i could hear no noise at all coming from the bar below or from other guests which was great

having a bar and restaurant downstairs is great so we didnt have to go far

have liked to have had the option of breakfast before the bar opened, but it wasn't a big deal

late check out was offered for free and the beds were really comfy

the only problem i had was after drinking tap water from the kitchen, i kept on vomitting all day

we were a group of 3, and were given a big 3 bedroom apartment (+kitchen, two bathrooms) for a great price

room, extra bed, friendly girl on check in who arranged early check in for us with no fuss

apartment was very clean and spacious bedrooms were of a good size and enough parking kitchen was very clean and tidy overall it was very good value for

two double bedrooms, two bathrooms, lounge and separate kitchen, lounge set up as a third single bedroom which was ideal for family

i was over for a united game with kids

the bathroom was vile and leaked, it was noises with young kids running up and down the place

there was kids running about and shouting in the hallway at all

argument but messing around couldn’t go back to sleep afterwards was wrecked the next day an my kids

although there is no private parking, there was ample street

is no parking, i made the call to the hotel before starting my journey and they said their is no parking

parking was a concern, but no issues so probably unfounded

beds were comfy, decent location, good price, friendly staff, early check in

breakfast was a little disappointing

room was comfortable, just a bit warm, and there was a used kids menu in the pocket of info

breakfast was great and plenty of choice, staff were really friendly and even came and serviced our

decent facilities, staff (particularly sharon) were fantastic, newly refurbished room, brilliant breakfast

location, the restaurant and bar next door, staff wete really friendly, price was good value

breakfast was only okay,

the shower was filthy. kids had 2 matrresses on the floor in a family room

if going for a relaxing break or with kids it is very comfortable but not somewhere i’d stay as it’s purposeful, really nice but

comfortable, great price, good breakfast, nice bar next to it, pleasant staff.

paying for parking?

were lovely, the parking is only 2 a day, there s an aldi across from it, and the room was perfect for the price

best of the budget hotels we ve been to, room was spacious and clean, bathroom was modern, free parking, would definitely recommend and return

easy check in and free parking

be nice to have a small gym, running machine and bike

and the breakfast is also tasty that is traditional british one

the bar is expensive.

a spa room for pampering would be great also

bar staff werent happy that we want to order a drink 20 minutes before the bar officially closed
