hotel was an hour s drive from bordeaux airport, in the perfect location (and with parking) for a stopover at the start of my 4-day trip touring the area towards my final destination

the breakfast was fabulous, the swimming pool was so refreshing on a hot day, the facilities were everything we needed

there are actually 2 apartments with a kitchen in between, which you can use

very nice room and advantage of shared kitchen.

also the secure parking in the courtyard was perfect for our vehicle

the swimming pool is lovely and so are the extensive grounds

the chateau decor is a design delight, immaculate gardens and facilities and a beautiful pool and verandah

the pool and facilities were definitely 5 star, our room was huge and the bed was extremely comfortable

the valet car parking and retrieval was invaluable in a confined congested area

parking area are a little far away as there are some renovation going on when we are there

bit hard to navigate to if with car, but once you find it, it has easy parking for valet - it was google s fault for taking down some very narrow and dead end streets

also told us about the free parking nearby and helped us with our luggage up the stairs

the accomodation was in a very central location and parking up the road was not too hard to find once blaise explained where free, all day parking was

worth noting that the only free parking is a little way from the hotel up the hill so worth knowing if you have a lot of luggage
