indoor and outdoor pools, good restaurant next to private pier, good inside restaurant, plenty of parking, friendly staff, quiet rooms with views, dog friendly, and close to nc's pine knoll shores

so we were up until 2 am doing laundry because everyone else was using washer and dryer too

the kitchenette and sit at bar were great with small kids.

bathroom was small, and hard to give kids baths, but not a deal breaker

it had a few toys for the kids, towels and a gorgeous view

hotel was very clean along with the pool area and the grounds

was bad weather expected and they upgraded our room to a kitchen at no extra cost so that if stores/restaurants were closed we would be able to eat meals

facilities for self-catering, including a hob, microwave oven, fridge-freezer and a kitchen sink

it doesn’t come with breakfast, but we have kitchen to cook.

no plug in the kitchen. had to brew coffee on the bed.

the bathroom and kitchen were totally adequate but could use some updating.
