location near the train station in wallyford (10mins away and free parking ) and then only 10 mins into city centre (+) parking there is free and easy (+)20 return from musselburgh station with free parking, also perfect location for musselburgh (+) breakfast was first class, and lots of parking space (*) parking in edinburgh is expensive (+) plenty of parking (+) large private parking (+) free parking (+)ancient building perfect interior very tasteful. surrounded by gardens, plenty of parking (-) it was also very clean in the room, the bathroom, the grounds, and the parking lot

all the staff were excellent from reception, dining, room service, bar and even the gardener gave me a nod

there was no info pack in the room regarding wifi or room service and organising a menu and subsequent snack was very frustrating as they were short

wifi in the room was intermittent.

would of sped up meal time considerbly as there were only a few staff to take orders at the bar who wernt there very much

i had my 2 kids with me(3 and 5)and the room was almost too small for them

stayed a couple of times, once with two kids visiting family nearby at really short notice, and at the price on agoda, would definitely

no common area to chill out in when kids in bed

if you went to bed a bit tipsy after the honesty bar and fell asleep in a weird position your body would be a bit sore waking up

we had a 2 night weekend booking mid november and were pleased that staff had accommodated our early check in request

massive bed, it was comfy. allow me to early check in and my car stays after check out.
