the bar area and restaurant was modern and newly decorated

the room was a decent size and clean, the staff very welcoming and attentive, the bar downstairs serves excellent ale and the gardens have a lovely view of the canal

it’s a very busy place and there were a lot of conferences on when we visited which made the bar area very busy

service in the bar was a little slow in the evening despite not being very busy but food was very tasty and fresh

take care which wine you order from the bar a large glass of red i had was over £10 !!

only the kids were complaining but i guess it was a blessing as it prevented them from using their tablets

kids running up and down the corridor mid evening but that’s idiots for you
