the most dog friendly hotel i've ever stayed in with bar staff bringing bowls of water, dog biscuits and cuddles for our dog throughout our stay

locals who attend the golf club bar made a few strange comments to me but the bar staff were really great about talking

- better quality for late risers and no laundry cart being emptied/filled in the restaurant next to where i was eating

as we were attending a wedding at clearwell castle, the motel was easy to find, we requested early check in as we’re also delivering and setting up the wedding cake at the venue prior to the

early check in from 10am which was approved but when arrived at property, no one on site and no

unprofessional, no prior planning for early check ins

check in check out, and the adjoining rooms were great for the kids

lovely breakfast the following morning again plenty of choice and again made to feel really welcome

room was spotlessly clean, breakfast was ample, cooked well and presented nicely

the only other criticism is personal to me, breakfast should have (needs) smoked bacon

the breakfast tables were perfectly clean but the surface felt slightly sticky

late-night guests leaving the bar and the illuminated front lighting kept us awake, but the lighting is perhaps a safety feature,

staff were most welcoming when we arrived late, sadly too late to sample the cooking in the kitchen, but that was our fault
