the gym is a good size for a hotel and the pool was warm and clean

the spa the food in the lounge was first class the kids loved the snowman trail in new year’s day

the spa and the main restaurant/bar weren't open

well equipped and very spacious room in a suite, fantastic pool which was open really long hours and other sports facilities which we used like table tennis

enjoyed the leisure facilities albeit probably too many children in the main swimming pool at the time we visited

we hadn't booked anywhere, but grabbed a pub meal, and had a couple of drinks in another bar afterwards

tastefully converted church/chapel with quality rooms, bar and restaurant

added bonus to have a bar in the residents lounge and a coffee shop in the dining room during the day

all areas were spotlessly clean and tidy; meals (breakfast and evening bar meals) were excellent and staff were friendly and helpful

owners and staff were lovely, great choice of breakfast and they were excellent, we also ate at the restaurant and the food was excellent

downfall was lack of parking but get there at the right time it was fine

quite central easy parking food excellent nice and hot room a bit cramped

car parking monday to thursday might be a problem but at the weekends there's one available next door

it was busy parking may be an issue as not many spaces outside although a car park next door thats free from

plenty of free car parking close to main door and very comfortable well furnished bar and public rooms

breakfast and dinner were lovely, beautifully prepared and served on fine china, either in the

excellent breakfast and evening meal very helpful charming staff wonderful position

great - i asked for lactose free milk for my wife s cup of tea on saturday afternoon in the bar and this was communicated throughout the whole team so she always got a lactose free option
