lovely old property with lots of space both in rooms and around the bar area

there was a live band on in the bar but that ended at a reasonable time so no complaints there

the food served in the restaurant was excellent, and there was a nice atmosphere in the bar and restaurant

the staff were lovely, it's in a beautiful setting, it has a bar and a very good restaurant, breakfast was good and we had a great meal in the restaurant too

bit of noise from other rooms - though it's not really the hotel's fault if people let their kids run riot

giant chess set was missing some pieces so not able to play with our kids who were really looking forward to it

fabulous food both breakfast & dinner & so relaxing in the bar with our dog

all areas except tge restaurant but they made it so easy by just setting our meals up in the bar instead

little difficult to find but lovely bar lady at affiliate pub in ringwood -fish inn- brilliantly assisted with instructions

breakfast was spot on as where the meals in the evening

peaceful place to stay with roaring fires in the bar area and armchairs

staff we wonderful, the position was stunning, the breakfast was excellent

the location was amazing, such a beautiful drive up to the hotel. bar was great too.

just be careful with the kitchen taps as the hot water gets boiling in seconds

the kitchen is not equipped as expected to cook

a proper table and bench seats, a proper kitchen, great facilities for a shepherds hut

it’s called new forest botanics and all home made from her kitchen

we took our dog and there was lots of space still, well equipped kitchen

breakfast was amazing, mrs chris loved the pastries

the breakfast surpassed our expectations and i would most definitely stay here again

staff were also super friendly and helpful, the continental breakfast and complimentary food and drink items were a lovely touch too

also breakfast is delivered to your room, which again is a great touch but a small table and two chairs

had to be critical the car park is fine but i believe may be busy at weekends which could cause a parking issue

the wifi signal didn t reach our room some times.

she was given a very warm welcome and the car parking space was a great blessing in a busy town

staff very helpful and accommodated an early check in
