was left on over night, i think it was the extractor fan for the kitchen, which our family room was above

enjoyed the bar and a family meal

it’s family owned and run and the owner was frequently available in the bar most evenings and a great source of local knowledge

setting, fantastic staff, best gin selection in cornwall only downside was i promised the kids a swimming pool……

was great to get the kids off their phones

room was very comfortable and clean, and hosts were very accommodating with our request for an early check in

staying here super friendly and helpful as i required a late check out super smooth comfy stay would recommend

wifi was great

especially the tasting menu in the acleaf, staff always had a smiley face and keen to help, the spa was wonderful and never seemed to be too busy even though the hotel was full

seeing as we didn t use anything from the mini bar or room service i feel like the money should have been returned quicker

as for tom the barman what a talent

free ev charging was a bonus (although i suspect it won't be free for much longer as they are installing (-)ev charger didn't work. (+) the grounds and building are superb - the spa is great, ev charging points at a good price as well

the pool was a good size and fun for the kids

we only ate at the bar brassiere and food was very good

nicely decorated property and spacious rooms with nice on site swimming pool and gym.

evening meals were quite expensive, especially the kids menu
