the little park and short property trials were great for keeping the kids entertained
we didn't like to leave. i will be back and sending all my friends with kids or couples.
the trails into the forest start right at your door and the kids loved the playground next to the cabin
the rooms are a long, long way up and down hills to get to the dining room or the parking lot

our big disappointment was that the swimming pool was out of action whilst we were there, it was closed for

might be something to be aware of for more picky travelers/kids or something especially during hot months
the room has big windows and is bright which was very helpful for my kids to look around when it rains

i was woken up at 6:30 am because of some hammering sound and kids running and yelling outside
great quirky base for 2 days visit to san jose. try the tapas bar on the corner (fabulous).
also connects internally with its own bar and restaurant

it also has a nice ittle bar/restuarant on site for quick meals (with kids)

the kids may have had jet lag and still been functioning in a different time zone at 11 pm
also, probably due to the constructuin, the pool was too dirty to let our kids play in it

unfortunately there are people who think let your kids running and screaming around at 7 is ok so partly fault
the staff seemed like college kids who would rather be doing something else - there

lots of little sitting areas, where we could relax in the evenings while the kids were sleeping
which i only mention because if i had my kids with me i would feel like that could be dangerous
the other major issue were 3 your kids that destroyed the peaceful environment

we were placed on a floor where there were many kids running and yelling in the hallway
