we chose the red roof inn specifically because it was pet friendly

i completely understand that children are excited on vacation and that kids will be kids

and the room for our kids only had one light source which could be easily resolved

they have an area out back where kids can play (playground) under the trees and we saw a bbq

were areas for kids to play with pickleball and basketball courts

never heard other guests and room next door even had kids

they had grills and a playground in the back so while we grilled dinner the kids would play on the playground

they had kids that were running up and down the hall

in elevator was wet from kids who were using pool

fact that we re trying to sleep and u have kids running back and fourth at 6:30 am and u call multiple times

had a good selection, although one morning it was a bit chaotic with all the people with kids
