breakfast was lovely - in fact, all the food was great - we ended up eating there four nights out

a friend, hearing we were staying in a hotel, said we should use room service - well that couldn't be further

we had great food on the saturday evening and thoroughly enjoyed the bar which leads out to a stunning view of

pet friendly - warm welcome for our labrador

the wifi was excellent and the rooms were brilliant with the tv channels a big bonus

friendly staff. hotel was clean. good amount of parking available.

close to the ferry port evening meal in bar was excellent friendly staff ample parking

wifi signal would not work on mobile phone in the room, as the network signal was not strong enough

there was a live band on downstairs, in the room i couldn't hear them, the band was good, the bar was lively

wifi access point was plugged into a three pin outlet and just left on the landing floor

a little noisy at night, didn t spend any time in the hotel bar as the music was too loud to allow for

period features, the central location and the modern and clean bar area

night noise from below bar and/or surrounding pubs went on until around 1am

family room in the loft conversion for myself and two kids, large double bed was very comfy, one of the single

we had a tasty, generous dinner in the very pleasant bar in the evening

also was hard to get the right wifi code as there was no info in the room, and had to ask 2 staff to get the

location in solva main street, parking on site, friendly and helpful welcome

breakfast was very good

smells like dog pee or wet dog when entering hotel and in restaurant noisy room with kids running up and down

option for room service to avoid bringing dog into the food area

of flowers in the reception and bar areas - i struggled with allergies

bed was rickety and squeaked, wifi would not connect in our room

a little soft for me but that's personal preference, the room also suffered with noise from the bar / restaurant

comfortable beds, free car park and a small park for the kids in the beer garden

needed to drive 20 min back to tenby to be able to eat dinner with kids

even the kids couldn't sleep on the sofa bed the springs dug in so badly

we had a family room booked 2 adults and 2 kids and we were given 2 towels

was lovely and great value for money we only stayed one night but will definitely be back the kids loved

so friendly with our kids too

although we could hear noise from the room above, possibly kids jumping

family room was v small, we have 2 kids and 1 mattress was wedged alongside the double bed with the bedside

carpark not easily seen. noisy kids up until 10.00 (not down to hotel!)

the bar and restaurant were comfortable, clean and inviting

loved the double room for our kids

nice pub downstairs, spacious bathroom with bath and shower, separate room for the kids with door, so could

had a double room so the kids had a room to themselves, the room was clean and today and very spacious

the bar area was clean and nicely furnished. the bedroom was clean and spacious.

5 minutes from town/breakfast was good/small pub

the hotel has been refurbished to a very good standard, the room was ample size for us with two kids

room was very clean and spacious and ideal for our family with a separate side room for the kids

hadn t read the particulars well enough and assumed there would be a bar and dinner option

fantastic care from beth and the breakfast was excellent

the grounds were nice to walk around and play frisbee with the kids. hotel meals were good.

the kids enjoyed playing in the gardens

i was refused access to microwave to warm our milk can for kids at 0900pm

we are going back with the kids next year as it s within 15 mins of tenby to dip into the craziness and come

sofa bed for kids instead of spare ones. sofa bed was not that soft.

pub was used by some locals in the evening who were sat outside our window in the garden and the kids screamed

hotel were happy to make smaller portions of meals for kids though

nice ambiance in hotel , excellent breakfast nice choice, friendly staff, nice clean rooms good parking, evening

the wifi was unusable in my room.

pet friendly rooms need a good clean and fitting with impervious floor covering rather than carpet

stayed in the coach house which isn't part of the main building and is pet friendly

views from room and garden, pet friendly, good variety for breakfast and great dog friendly

access to the bar in the evening.

the sofa bed mattress for my kids was even worse

although a little bit out of tenby it had easy parking and was a lovely place to stay right on the golf course

the bar area is nice and cosy to enjoy a drink as well

there were no mini fridges or fridges at all in the rooms so was hard to store things for kids

looking for parking was a drag, if you were a family with lots of bags and kids, it would be a hassle to have

the wifi in the room was not very good. but one would want to spend all the time outside anyway

fantastic location lovely owners and pet friendly this hotel is very good and well worth a visit
