highly recommend this one for families with and without kids

family friendly and kids have a ton of fun
beach with lava reef barrier which means less wave than a normal beach: very safe for kids to play and snorkel

the pools are amazing. our kids have great fun there
manager that was always accommodating and making sure that we were comfortable and safe for my kids and my family
not a lot of kids either which was a plus lol

great location. pool slides are good fun for kids
the last 2 times kids were running at 6am and made it impossible to sleep
my kids had a blast at the pool every day we were there

no other place for kids on the big island...and we tried all over
it is perfect for kids. all the pools and the lagoon were a lot of fun.

kids did not get to do yuk, hula lessons or lei making in the 4 days we were there
and the view is lovely, we reserve the ocean view and we can see the dolphins ud83dude0amy kids enjoyed our stay

views and beautiful classic golf course hotel is in great shape for an older design but classic well kept up

i was generally ok with waiting at the bar, but they asked me to come back to the front desk to sign something
