family friendly hotel and as it was on the run up to christmas lots of things for kids to do like find the elves
i loved how many activities there were , great for kids
looking forward to kids club getting up and running again after covid restrictions allow.
there was lots to do in the hotel for kids and we enjoyed the singers on saturday
my grandson loved kids club and the pool

the bar could have been open more
thought the spa was at the hotel but it was in peebles
amazing surprise to find dogs stay for free and there was a ev charger
good breakfast, exceptional location, very nicely renovated castle, beautiful interiors and garden,
had bar food on the friday evening and the service for that wasn't good enough

although the bunk beds in the room were exciting for the kids, it was a bit dangerous for our 3 year old who
the castle also has a beautiful backyard for kids to run around and take
i got room service for dinner as my baby was sleeping and it was just perfect
the rose petals and swan towels on the bed was a lovely surprise

nicole served us in the restaurant and was very professional, well mannered and great with the kids

breakfast was perfect - full scottish breakfast, porridge, rhubarb compote and the view included
golf course grass cutting early in the morning. not hotels fault.
hotel is very pet friendly and the staff are particularly attentive

the bed for the kids are not comfortable at all noisy street breakfast only started at 8 and we must have it

made getting settled down and putting all kids to bed in the evenings a little bit challenging

the room was very long and thin and there wasn't enough storage space for 2 adults and 2 kids

2 hours for the kids is ridiculous, i brought my daughter for a treat thinking she would get a good swim after

drinks to the room and helped us book another room for next week so we can come back with our kids
great area for being local to the sick kids hospital as nephew was in intensive care so made it easy for getting
kids bed was very poor and swinging.
