breakfast in the family dining room was an experience in itself
a couple of bars and a lovely meal in the evening with the other guests who were there

the teapot at breakfast had a chip in which is one of my pet hates
couldn t find wifi or use remote for tv, to be fair didn t go find staff to ask for help.

especially pam who added a special touch by arranging activities for the kids with prizes
nice grounds to go for a walk and small kids play area is useful
i expected a prepared breakfast and not buffet style where some of the food needed to be refreshed more often
restaurant offered great meals with snacks available from the bar during the day

the staff were very friendly, the hotel was ideal for us as an older couple (kids now old enough to leave)
loved the small bar and the fact there were dog free and dog friendly restaurants
the bar was a lovely place to relax before and after dinner
they really understand that your pet is part of your family
