are regular customers at monterey plaza hotel& spa on cannery row and have commonly payed less for a king bed
liked the available parking spot, the 5 pm wine and cheese event and the access to restaurants on the plaza
for a quick getaway and despite the covid they still served a wonderful breakfast

friendly throughout our stay, the service was very good, and we especially enjoyed the relaxed bar area
the room was nice but not spectacular and the pool, though not used by us, seemed small for a resort of this
weight staff in the bar and restaurant were not attentive and friendly
we opted for breakfast in the room and i have to say that was one of the best decisions we made
the only annoying thing was they stopped pool service a bit early & waiting for a buggy to take & pick us up

not a huge problem for us; if i had little kids with me, might have been harder

tall trees and they provide smores at 7 pm in the community fire pit which is so fun to watch kids and families
