the staff were friendly and very helpful, and there is ample free parking on the grounds
no bar but you’ve only got to ask for a beer and it’s brought out to you on the terrace
wifi didn't work v well - think it's the thick stone walls.

we stayed in the ground floor apartment, with two rooms and the kitchen next door
were some electric issues when one was to plug more than one appliance (in the kitchen) at the same time

it is a kids friendly hotel in general, however there is no kids pool
then, one of the kids' meal was wrong, some items were forgotten, the waitress was completely lost and kind of
lots of different things. food for kids and not too much but everything at the right portion
great for the kids and us. total relaxation.
it's also very child friendly which is great if you have kids but as a couple without kids it wasn't the relaxing

took duplex as we were 4 (2 adults and 2 kids) and the kids complaint the sofa was not very comfortable
we had two adjacent rooms – one with a very large king bed and one with twin beds for our adult kids

absolutely perfect for a short family holiday. the kids loved the pool table ud83dude42
around, it makes it very difficult to eat or drink anything, especially if you're travelling with kids
furthermore, the fabulous outside garden, pool area, the historic building
some kitchen equipment needs checking - taps, hot plates, plug for sink. minor stuff.
there is not a restaurant in the village which is basically a church, a bar and surrounding homes
