staff are absolutely your best asset, very friendly and helpful and they were nice with my kids too

it was right next to a play area behind the pub which was great for the kids
travelled for business, but assume it will be good if you travel with kids, nice playground available
opened the room and it hadn't been cleaned - went back to reception, taken to a different rooms, kids were
due to the room being a basement room and the weather was very raining, but not great for little kids to be

shower and water pressure in room but nothing to spoil our stay as showers in pool area which kids loved

the property has its own farm including a chicken farm (the kids will like that) and a lot of outside space
also we were a car tour group and they would not reserve parking so we could park together
not great signage for parking or reception so a little confusing in the beginning.

there is ample parking and the gardens are lovely, including the maze and vegetable garden

try and time the spa for when it isn t a creche if you don t have kids too

the ladies in the laundry room ironed a top for me and delivered it to the room on a hanger in under ten minutes

we were standing in the middle of the restaurant with loads of luggage, 2 kids, waiting in the queue whilst
you could end up parking your car a fair distance away - not good with a wife and two tired young kids for
rude from the moment we arrived, didn t seem happy we had our dog with us even though it s a pet friendly

i am a thirty seven year old woman with three kids and was visiting a friend nearby
looked after adults, kids, dog and even had secure lock up for bikes

we eventually got refunded having to leave and make a 4 hour drive home in the night with two kids after already
