really happy to be able to bring my dog, kids loved it here also

dispensers in shower were almost empty, we replenished from the kids dispenser, a 5 star hotel would normally

stayed in a 2 bed suite - great to have a separate bedroom from kids

there was parking available, a lovely bar and the staff were incredible, excellent service throughout our

nice bar area for drinks before our meals

nothing. we did struggle to connect to wifi but could ve been user error :)

gave us a little tour of the place and showed us up to our room, helped with parking too

possibly a little bar to have a drink before supper and therefore stretch the evening.

within easy walking of the town and good on street parking

location is great. good bed and bathroom. slightly eccentric. good wifi.

there was some noise from the bar which was expected

from the moment i arrived until the morning i left when the boss was happy for me to wait in the bar for my lift

our wedding at the registrar office, which was almost next door, staff friendly and helped with early check

the family room was spacious, clean, warm and comfy - historic character kept the kids enthralled

really noisy as night with the traffic really small things, hot chocloate at breakfast for the kids would be

nice large bedroom , loved the olympic dining room and bar meal was great

they also told us about the amazing room the olympic suite where we had a beautiful breakfast- it was created

and comfortable hotel in a great location with excellent staff, top restaurant and fast wifi

noisy road at night, dinner disappointing, cold lasagne, kids pizza unpleasant, lamb dish fairly

sized family room proper beds for kids, breakfast good

was due to one double and one family in booking which for a family trip is not ideal as young kids

family room was right next to beer garden so the noise kept the kids up really late

room, excellent for family of four really lovely pub meal for dinner, with good service and kids meals

not a place for kids

kids described it as fun and loved the place

we even had sunshine , this place would be so good if you has kids

kids loved wandering around with the chickens & exploring the grounds, really safe

this should be listed very clearly on the property description, with a heavily pregnant wife , 2 kids , all

like one of those middle aged childless women but some places just aren t designed with kids in mind

delay for pizza at tipi but staff kept us informed & then supplied extra food so our kids didn t have to wait

modern, clean and luxury toiletries. kids loved the playpark and grounds.

breakfast was excellent with a kids menu too, the room had an amazing bathroom, really relaxing.

rooms, great decor, loved the family room perfect for us and kids

weren't pre warned that there was a wedding and the noise of kids playing outside and the sound of goats or

thin walls . had 2 screaming kids next door.woke us up early. room was looking tired.

the spa was noisey with kids!

kids are allowed in the pool and if you are planning a relaxing break as a couple then this may not

not allow children into the spa , swimming pool as us adults go there to chill out not to here kids shouting &

walk right into the bar to checkin which was quite busy and loud and a bit intimidating for the kids

friendly bar with a good selection of booze good food

central location with easy access to lots of walks and free off street parking easily available

party of people eating in the restaurant, the staff served our evening meal very quickly in the bar

hearty breakfast and reasonable evening meals

are in the pub for dinner on the first night and the kids didn't eat the burgers because they were awful and we

day to relax, have a few drinks and a meal or two & generally chill out away from our home & kids &

spa was small and full of kids

in grease and pudding burnt to a crisp, spa area packed to rafters with children, including kids in hot

service was more like a 2 star hotel didn't seem to care spa area was tiny and very over crowded, kids aloud in

the pub garden was large and enclosed do great for the kids to run around

our time was spent in the bar area, not a good place for kids, luckily we didn t have any with us as this

location and plenty of parking

delicious breakfast. beautiful location nothing could have been better

there s also a cosy bar area with a log burner

tv had netflix, kids sorted for after the hike

noise from guests kids upstairs and the leaking s bend in the sink and the leaking radiator

i had to climb in beside my kids

kids bed not very comfy shower overran the first use but fine after

it was also noisy from about 10:30-midnight with kids partying in a nearby parking lot

to have a look back at a place we went as kids

arrival we were met with kids watching tv and eating a chippy tea in the reception area not a great first

there is a farm nearby, so your kids will like sheep & horses around

was lovely , bar area was nice , menu a little limited for lunch or evening meal but i'm diabetic so have to be

room,very clean and best of all it was quiet no noisy kids or folks

the bar was full of locals, all very friendly, as were the management and staff

breakfast was freshly cooked and first rate and our hosts were very friendly

the bar meals are simple but tasty and you will never

met up with our sons family and our daughter and her boyfriend came and is 2 kids we had a lovely meal and drinks

hotel has a bar and serves meals but we didnt use this facility as we were travelling around each day

25 charge for pets 10 charge for parking per night 15 per person for breakfast 5 charge for room service

attractive bar and restaurant

dave and carmen s recent renovations were top drawer - from a cute and functional mini kitchen to an excellent

apartment was lovely and spacious with small kitchenette

parking was really straightforwards thanks to the advice sent in advance by the b&b

accommodation has been renovated to a very high standard which also included a little kitchen

location very friendly alllowed is an early check in

very friendly staff, who were super helpful and great with my kids

in, and i had chosen the hotel as i knew we would arrive after being out all day, and knowing kids wouldn t

when trying to sort out the booking - we booked queens head under the understanding it was pet friendly - it's

great location, mostly 'free' parking, helpful staff, free wifi, excellent food.

wifi not that fast or reliable - was completely off one night.

not really a good one for kids.

getting told we have only one chef which is not our problem the staff on the morning were just kids so struggled

for breakfast on top of the room price - the rooms were reasonably priced but and extra 9

the breakfast was excellent and the staff were so lovely and accommodating.
