the shower / pediluve to get into the pool area is a bit random, it worked once every two or three people which provided great

it is in a quiet location with no facilites such as bar within the chateau but a short walk away there is a relais bar/ bistro selling beers/ shared

we were told the restaurant was fully booked upon arrival but the room service for pre-prepared dinner wasn t bad at all and very reasonably priced

room service did not make up the bed

hotel was very well appointed and had a car park outside with ample parking

the swimming pool, while being quite small is very accommodating and relaxing

on booking in was casual and failed to brief us on key things like the wifi, and failed to set up our room for wifi correctly

was uncomfortable with a spring just where you lay & car parking inconvenient

it does as advertised. tv, wifi, air con etc..

the whole hotel needs to be renovated. not enough outlets in the room. free wifi?

nothing much only booking in was easy and car parking with plenty of space.

for the historic part, the bar from the hotel used to be the chapel for the priest retired

limited bar and basic but good breakfast buffet

the onsite pool and gym was a big hit with the kids

pool spa area and grounds

particular highlights are the indoor pool, sauna and steam room

breakfast pool and hammam staff

bar closed very early (about 10pm) and both the restaurant and bar were closed on sundays (+) restaurant and bar is convenient and avoids driving (+)place suited us perfectly, would stay again only downside was bar and restaurant were closed if these facilities had of been open 5 star
