have been suitable to stay in for a number of days up to a week, with the living, dining, and kitchen area nicely on the main floor and the beds

both the snug bar and the oak panelled dining room were pleasant places to eat

the bar /pub area could have a bit more music for a better vibe maybe

the breakfast was excellent and meals in the bar just what wanted

lunch and evening restaurant meals had plenty of options but there was no option of a bar snack if you were only peckish in the evening

we stayed here rather than shrewsbury centre due to parking and glad we did

even an outside fireplace with settees and coffee table for the cooler evenings plus an external bar to supplement the internal one

staff were incredibly welcoming: from reception, to bar to restaurant to check-out

restaurant and bar closed for the two nights of our stay.

next door was excellent too with complimentary tea/coffee for hotel guests with breakfast the bar had a great selection of malt whiskies ,wines and the food was excellent

its a great little complex next door to the ludlow golf course and ludlow race course

spa was gorgeous also

very good meal in the bistro and great breakfast

and relaxed hotel / mini-stately home with a wonderful ambience, ample but discreet free parking and very convenient for ludlow
