rooms are very nice, pool area and gym are as described.
the gym was clean and had decent equipment
i wish i would have remembered names, but the lady at the hotel bar was outstanding

bring our puppy with us was a huge bonus, and we appreciated the thoughtful touches of providing pet bowls and extra poo bags in the room in addition to the regular human supplies/toiletries

a very nice location with great views, we found the hotel charming and very romantic in the king spa
the bar serves top notch beverages
were staying at the hotel for a wedding with a group of friends- the fact that the hair salon/spa was in the building and that there's a good restaurant attached for all of us to gather
in many ways feels like it has been exactly the same for 100 years: large bedroom, fully equipped kitchen with dining area, small office and equally small bathroom
we each (two of us) had wonderful 90 minute massages at the spa which looks spiffy and welcoming and is attended by a friendly and efficient staff
