very well appointed accommodation with great kitchen, power shower and super comfy bed

the kitchen had everything we needed and it was well equipped

laundry also wasn't as simple as expected (it's shared with staff and other guests)

we were able to do our laundry in an adjacent room

is no wifi in the room

but there is a list of don ts when you reach the property including not letting your pet upstairs even

wifi. turn it off, i wanted total isolation.

exploring but excellent facilities in case we hadn't been so lucky such as tv with netflix, good wifi, plenty

we had no trouble parking in the lodge car park

bar area closed for pre drinks, limited to just the tasting menu meaning a drive to get a light

staff were amazingly friendly the whole island had a power cut so instead of a regular breakfast the head chef

there is a beautiful playground just outside the hotel - perfect for kids

the whole place exudes warmth; warm and friendly staff, nice and warm fireplace in the lounge

we also had dinner and breakfast and the food was beyond exceptional, i can t even describe the service

we had a place to play games, eat, drinks, a great bar and the rooms were all very quiet and calm

loved the private parking on the side and back of the house
