half hour walk to centro as their shuttle service hours were terrible

run hotel with very courteous staff in an excellent location overlooking the city with a free shuttle bus to and from the city to explore the old part very easily on foot or pick up other buses

restaurant and bar were great

the lounge and the bar are very cosy

pool, sauna and steam room were terrific after a long day hiking

carpet needs replacing. be warned, the pool tiles are very slippery.

wifi was bad and i speak portuguese, otherwise i would have had some issues to communicate in
