superb resort in terms of spa facitlities and atmoshere

the spa services you have to book in advance of your stay- which we were not told, it was all sold out

spa services were excellent

the yoga class and the pool were also very nice

the swimming pool is a little chilly for my tastes, but i dislike cold water more than most.

the grounds and pool are fun to explore, rooms are comfortable, a/c has been added since our last stay

breakfast was lovely.

we were the only guests that night - but they still opened the restaurant for us for dinner and breakfast, and made sure we had anything we needed to make our stay enjoyable

late check in and an early substantial breakfast made all the difference

the staff were exceptional, the breakfast and food in the restaurant excellent and lovely clean pool and bar

breakfast was the standard for costa rica: scrambled eggs, seasoned rice&beans, plantains, sausage,

i liked the pool, the staff was amazing and the room and the bar ;-)

unfortunately, we left too early to enjoy the breakfast but still were offered some coffee, juice and fresh cake

there is a pool for kids, adults with swim up bar and another quieter relax pool for adults only

more sitting areas near pool, wanted to stay more unfortunately there was no more space.

we had a view of the ocean and the pool

kids safety when wondering around kids club and teens club

laundry service was also great and quick

we loved spending time in garden watching geckoes and petting their cat❤️ the fruit for breakfast was so delicious

very clean rooms and nice breakfast and area around it

tom and john and paola, groundskeeper and breakfast staff all

alexa provided a free shuttle to the airport in the morning and since we left before the free breakfast, she sent us off with a banana, cereal and cookies

the airport shuttle was also a really valuable and appreciated inclusion

close to airport, nice staff, good breakfast, gym and pool and easy access to the mall

other guests even came up to us and sympathized as the kids were wandering around trying to find something to eat

room service was exceptionally bad

plus the kids play place that’s in the mall called playtopia was one of the coolest play places i’ve

the pool is lovely and there are several seating areas around the pool

kids liked the pool, it is cold but after they finally got in, they were fine

breakfast wasn't great - there were ants, and it was a little difficult to find clean dishes.

bed was also comfy :) free underground parking which is handy if you're bringing a car

there were never towels for the gym or pool available.

felt like an upscale bed and breakfast, but with privacy

in the bathroom, insufficient pressure in shower, poor room service, quality of food and general quality of room

the pool area makes you feel like you re on a true vacation it s the perfect escape
