was good, downside is no early check in or late check out

the pool was a decent size and shallow enough for our 5-year-old to touch the ground at both entrances

it's convenient to topsail island beaches, set along golf course and country club, impeccable clean & friendly, service oriented

only one laundry bag for a three day stay for two people

liked that my room size was upgraded from queen to king when we arrived and that early check in was not an issue

hotel is next to new hanover hospital, they allowed us early check in so i could sleep off the anesthesia
