we were staying to attend a wedding and owner couldn't have been more helpful allowing us very early check in (mid day) and wishing us a lovely day

however, the sally accommodated having my room ready for an early check in as they were aware of my situation

the room was spacious, very attractively furnished and spotlessly clean. parking was no problem.

very professional sunday lunch was lovely bar area very welcoming and

the day manager was lovely as were the bar staff.

with the atmosphere, staff, easy check-in, lovely spacious room (even though standard), cool bar with bi-folding doors opening out to the street

the bar and restaurant area is always busy and has a great atmosphere

walk from railway station well met at reception and allowed early check in to our room comfortable night followed by a full breakfast allowed to leave suitcase

bar had been drunk dry so only bottled beers available, but this was clearly a rare occurence

) bathroom had hand-wash in a dispenser (on wall) rather than individual bars of soap and full toilet roll

was perfect bar was nice to sit and relax in rooms were spacious and clean and plenty of coffee tea bathrooms

hotel does not serve food but they brought us plates and cutlery and allowed us to eat in the bar when we ordered take away

arrived ten ish straight to bed and up sharp and away so didn’t get time for chilling in bar etc but clean room fresh bed and would go back
