needed anything at reception you needed to walk back and forth from room to recepfion desk, no room service facility, no drinking water available in rooms, no mini fridge in rooms, air

disabled parking was very difficult and spaces beside hotel door was sealed off.

we ate at the bar on friday night and food was exceptional

they are doing some work on the castle at the minute and when we where sitting in the bar the plastic on the blocked off door became unstuck and i got covered in dust but these things

variety needed to match the quality of the bar

setting was awesome, with well manicured grounds, and ample parking

2nd night stay there was a wedding on and kids running about up and down corridors throughout the evening/late at night

had to ring down for towels as only 2 towels were left for 2 adults and 2 kids to share, we also had to ring asking for an iron so we did not want to ring again when we

requested late check out and it was absolutely no problem

hotel was warm and welcoming staff was great and so good to the kids

pints weren't great tasting and wifi in bedroom was extremely weak

never any problem with the wifi connection

we stayed for 2 nights as a group of 9 adults and 3 kids (aged between 4 and 5 months)

travelled with teenagers for a short break so we were all able to the use gym and pool

overall except the car parking was a bit of a disaster with people parking over the lines and we were told by staff there

was beautifully decorated, beds so comfortable had an amazing dinner in the bar restaurant along with entertainment which was fabulous
